Onboarding process
The onboarding process for districts includes the following steps:
1. Initial invitation
The Vendor sends an introductory email to a district/school using the pre-defined template.
2. Onboarding survey completion
The district/school administrator fills in the onboarding form with the information required for the data integration. Upon completion, one of GG4L’s specialists contacts the customer within the next 24 hours to start the process.
3. Data integration
GG4L provides the customer with instructions to establish a connection between the SIS and School Passport platform. Vendor needs minimum amount of data - in most cases - schools, students and teachers should be enough.
4. Roster verification
Our specialists verify the roster to ensure it meets the Vendor's requirements.
5. Data sharing request approval and Data Filtering
A district sends data access consent to the Vendor. The Vendor app is set up for auto-approve.
The rostering part is considered completed, once the data is validated.
Namely, please ensure:
- first and last name of the student and teacher users are shielded
6. SSO setup
IdP configuration
Send IdP setup instructions to the district admin, depending on the used service:
- Google Workspace (no setup instructions required)
- Microsoft ADFS
- Office 365/Azure (requires configuration steps and actions from district admin)
Auto-SSO URL
Do the following to enable SSO:

Log in to the district account on Connect.

Click Administration > Login Methods > Add Identity Provider.
- Select an IdP and then click Activate.
- Navigate Vendor’s app, and click the SSO Link.
- Send the URL to the Vendor Admin in Asana Project, pinging the Vendor rep.
- Send a note to the District Admin with the following statement:
We appreciate your assistance in finalizing the rostering and SSO setup for the Monarch Solutions app. The Vendor has acknowledged the information provided and will soon furnish you with your Monarch admin account, along with the necessary final instructions.
