Google Classroom: Import Topics as Categories

Easily organize Google Classroom topics in School Passport for seamless data synchronization and structure.

Importing Google Classroom topics as School Passport categories allows you to organize and structure content quickly from Google Classroom into School Passport. Also, you can keep data synchronized between the two platforms. Any changes made to topics in Google Classroom will be automatically reflected in School Passport, ensuring that the data is up-to-date and consistent.

To import Google Classroom topics as categories:

  1. Email support@gg4l.com to activate this feature. After the GG4L Support team enables it, you can continue with the next steps.
  2. Sign in to School Passport
  3. Go to Home > Google Classroom app,  and then click Settings on the top-right.
  4. On the Delivery Config tab, click Revoke Access.
  5. Click the Sign in with Google to initiate the re-authorization process.
  6. Сhoose an account to sign in. A new View topics in Google Classroom access appears.
  7. Click Continue to complete a re-authorization.
  8. Leave the settings page, and click Run Import on the Google Classroom detail page.
  9. Wait a few seconds for the import to apply. Once the sync completes, Google Classroom topics will appear in the Data Browsing > Gradebook Categories.
