New term merging feature for PowerSchool
Audience: District Admins
District Admins can now merge terms that share the same Title, Start Date, and End Date by going to PowerSchool > Delivery Config > Advanced Settings > Term Merging. School Passport will automatically combine these terms and list them together in the following format: {term name} ({start date} {end date}). For example, multiple "Fall Semester" terms with the same start and end dates will be merged into a single entry: "Fall Semester (2024-08-01 2024-12-31)". This helps keep your term data organized and prevents duplication.
Trimming Power School Line Items names
Audience: District Admins
To ensure your line item names fit within PowerSchool’s 50-character limit (including spaces), School Passport now automatically trims the names during export. With this update, District Admins no longer need to manually edit line item names within PowerSchool before importing them into School Passport.
Linking Calendar term End Dates with user Enrollment data
Audience: District Admins
School Passport can now automatically link Calendar (Term) End Dates from classes calendars and link them directly with the appropriate user enrollments, if they are not provided by the SIS. As a result, LMSs that need enrollment end dates will now get the most up-to-date and accurate student and enrollment information.
