Filter and sort applications

Find an application by name

In your Privacy Governance Console, you can quickly search and monitor the applications used in your district, see which users are using them, view PII risk scores, track application usage time, and assess the security impact of high-risk apps. These findings can help control unsanctioned and risky applications. To view your district application list, go to the Applications page:

Filter and sort applications

On the Applications page, you can filter your organization's applications and findings. This helps you search for applications by matching keywords in specific columns, making it easier to focus on security aspects. The available filters are:

  • Filter by Tags: Use this option to view your results based on specific tags assigned to apps.
  • Filter by Schools:  Use this option to narrow down to view results related to specific schools.
  • PII Use Suspected by AI: AI-generated status based on PII data analysis:  'Likely' (application likely uses PII data) or  'Unknown' (AI was unable to determine whether PII is involved).
  • PII Approved: Shows that you've marked the app as approved for accessing PII data for your reference. 
  • 1EdTech Certified: Indicates the app meets 1EdTech standards for interoperability, privacy, and security in educational technology.
  • Number of users: Shows the total number of users currently using the application.
  • Usage time: Shows the total time users have spent on the application.
  • Tags: Learn more about tags and how to use them.

Find an application by name

  1. Go to the Applications.
  2. In the first column, click the filter icon.

  3. Enter the search application name.
  4. Click the checkmark button.
