Sign in to Parent Portal

This article shows you how to sign in to your Parent Portal account with Google, Facebook, or School Passport credentials.

The Parent Portal serves as a centralized hub where you can access various educational systems and services linked to your children. If you have received an invitation to join the Parent Portal from your child's school or teacher, simply accept the invitation and gain access using one of the following methods.

Note: School Passport will remember your organization (school/district) for future logins, eliminating the need to search again.

Sign in with your Google account 

From the School Passport login page:

  1. Choose the Sign in as Parent link at the bottom of the page.

  2. Search for your school/district.
  3. Click the Google icon. 
  4. In the new page that appears, type your email and password and click Sign in. If you’re already signed in, this step will not appear.

Sign in with your Facebook account

From the School Passport login page:

  1. Choose the Sign in as Parent link at the bottom of the page.
  2. Search for your school/district.
  3. Click the Facebook icon. 
  4. Follow the sign-in instructions on Facebook to sign in to your account.

Sign in with School Passport credentials

If you are not using any of the previous sign-in methods, you can customize access to the Parent Portal using your School Passport credentials, such as your Username and Password. 

  1. When you use this sign-in method for the first time, you must create a Parent Portal account with the appropriate credentials. If you have already created an account with credentials, skip this step.
  2. Navigate to the School Passport login page.
  3. Search for your school/district.
  4. Choose the Sign in as Parent link at the bottom of the page.
  5. Enter your Username and Password in the respective fields. 
  6. Click Sign in.

Fix a problem with signing in

If you’re unable to sign in to Parent Portal, read on to learn how to troubleshoot some of the most common issues.

  • You forgot your password
    On the School Passport login page, click the Forgot password? link under the Password field and follow the prompts.
  • You forgot your username
    On the School Passport login page,  click the Forgot username? link under the Username field and follow the prompts.
  • You don`t want to use a Username for signing in
    To sign in with your phone instead of an email, on the School Passport login page, click the Forgot username? link under the Username field, choose the Phone method, and follow the prompts.
  • Your account verification code is invalid
    There are a few reasons your invitation link may be "Invalid" or not working:
    • Expiration: Your verification code may have expired. In this case, sign in again. 
    • Invalid code: You may not have a correct verification code. Please check your code and try again. 
  • You received an error message "Your account profile does not have a valid phone number or email address. Please contact a school administrator"
    Your phone number or email address didn't register in the School Passport. Please ask your District Admin to change it.
