You can use School Passport to connect to Export applications you're currently using or integrating with. Create and send a request with details determining which data of your organization (district) will be sent to the application. Once approved/rejected, requests are stored in Consents for easy review anytime.

Requirements

• District Admin must have Primary permissions to create and send a request. 

Schools

In the Schools section of your request, you can choose specific schools that you wish to connect with the Vendor for data-sharing purposes. This ensures that only the relevant information is shared.

Privacy Shield

In the Privacy Shield section, you can turn on the toggle to exclude/mask all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data that has been selected in the Data Quality from being shared with the application. For more details about Privacy Shield, see Mask Personal Data. 

You can also select specific attributes in the Attributes section to control the information shared with the application.

Attributes

In the Attributes section, you can select specific attributes that you want to include in sharing, to control exactly what information is shared with the application. Select Available for attributes, that you want to share with an application.  You can also check the Privacy Shield Supported checkbox to mask attributes that are supported by the application.

Filters

In the Filters section, you can create specific filter rules to determine which data will be shared based on the criteria you establish. These filters allow you to customize the data sharing according to your organization's requirements. For more details, see Filter Rules for Import or Filter Rules for Export.

Attachments

In the Attachments section, you can upload any relevant files such as documents, spreadsheets, or images to help the Vendor understand the data-sharing request.

Expiration time

For the initial request only. In the Expiration Time section, specify the duration for which your data will be available for Vendor. This allows you to control access granted to application and ensure data-sharing agreement validity.
