Email Relay for Privacy Shield

School Passport now supports routing masked emails without exposing personal email addresses. This feature allows Vendor Admins to send emails to email addresses that were masked using Privacy Shield. It keeps personal info private and reduces the risk of exposure. See Privacy Shield.
Mandatory MFA for Vendors
Audience: Vendor Admin
Starting February 19, 2025, all Vendor Admins must enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to access the School Passport. New Vendor accounts must set up MFA during their first login, and MFA cannot be disabled. Vendors will receive 30 days' notice before the change, after which those without MFA will be redirected to set it up before accessing School Passport.
SFTP host updated

The SFTP service now uses a new host: sftp.gg4l.com
. This replaces the previous host, upload.gg4l.com
. Please update your SFTP integrations to use the new host to ensure uninterrupted service.
Added Incremental Sync and Incremental Schedule for LTI integrations

School Passport now supports Incremental Sync and Incremental Schedule for LTI applications. These features allow District Admins to sync only new or changed data, reducing sync time and minimizing data transfer. The Incremental Sync Schedule automates this process, improving performance and making troubleshooting easier in case of issues. See Synchronization Modes and Incremental Sync Schedule.
Master Fields overwrite behavior

School Passport improves the Master Fields logic to allow overwriting of records. With this update, when Master Fields are enabled, School Passport will now overwrite records in the SIS with the Data API ID for Line Items and Results. To activate this feature, please email support@gg4l.com.
FTP File Export in School Passport Engagement

Districts using School Passport Engagement (SPEE) can now export One Roster CSV files directly to an FTP server. This improves data management and automation.
Category transformation for Grade Sync
Audience: District Admin
This update improves the mapping of Categories between School Passport and LMS to enable proper Grade Sync. By transforming Categories to have unique titles, administrators will be able to map them correctly for syncing.
PowerSchool Gradebook upgrade

The relationships between entities in One Roster Gradebook and PowerSchool Gradebook have been improved to provide better grade management. See Activate Grade Sync with PowerSchool
User record merge fix
Audience: District Admin
Fixed an issue where user records with the same email address but different GG4L GUIDs from Active Directory and Skyward SIS were not merging correctly. The system now merges records based on the Skyward SIS ID as the primary and deletes the Active Directory record when identical email addresses are detected.
